PencilPanelPage is pleased to introduce yet another exciting guest contributor: William Proctor. William Proctor is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Media and Cultural Studies Research at the University of Sunderland where he is researching his thesis, Beginning Again: The Reboot Phenomenon in Comic Books, Film and Television. He has published a number of articles on the reboots and delivered conference papers on the topic. William cannot believe how much money he spends on comics. Henry Jenkins once told him: ‘It’s an expensive hobby if you do it right!’ William also teaches Film, Media and Cultural Studies courses at the University of Sunderland and is currently editing a book with Professor John Storey called Marxism Matters. He still insists he is not a geek.
